Early warnings

Advisory notices when a key tag drifts, a start runs slow or a model residual grows, before anything trips.

Early warnings are shown in the Early warning (advisory) banner under the top bar. Each names the asset, what deviates and by how much, and cites its sources. They are advice for a person to look at; BooleX takes no action.

Drift

For each key tag the site names, BooleX compares the value, while a sequence step runs, with the band of that step's good runs. A value outside the band for longer than the hold time (30 seconds by default) raises a drift notice with the deviation.

Where the asset has a validated behavioural model, the drift is checked against the healthy model first. If the model reproduces the deviation from the operating conditions (a colder supply, a higher setpoint), the notice is marked Explained by operating conditions.

Slow start

For a start sequence the site names (an asset and its steps), a start that takes longer than the good runs raises a slow-start notice.

Residual monitoring

For the assets the site lists, the validated model is replayed on live data every 15 minutes. A mean residual above the site's threshold over the trend window for longer than the hold time raises a Model residual warning, with the degradation parameter (for example a heat transfer coefficient) re-fitted to show how far it has moved. A model whose validation is older than 90 days, or older than a parts change on its asset, is listed as Model needs revalidation.

Configuration

Key tags, hold time and start sequences are set under early_warning, and residual monitoring under residual_monitoring, in site.yaml.
