From an unboxed edge PC to the first cited answer about the pilot line, in nine time-boxed steps.
The target is a first cited answer about the pilot line within one working day (7 h 45 min of time boxes). Before you start, the deployment guide is signed, the conduits are open and the read-only accounts exist: see Network and security and the checklist in Get started.
Step 0: the edge PC (30 min)
Linux with Docker Engine and Compose, the release package on removable media and the release public key at /config/release-key.pub. Check docker info.
Step 1: install (30 min)
python -m settings.release install /media/usb/boolex-<version>
Step 2: site configuration (1 h)
Write site.yaml in the site folder, deploy/config/site/, from the configuration reference: endpoints, glossary, starter prompts, the KPI baseline and shifts, media retention and, for hybrid, the approved endpoints. Put tags.csv, alarms.csv, interlocks.csv, the code exports and the documents manifest beside it. Set customer_site: true. Every service reads the folder as /config/site, and its plant is the default plant.

Step 3: check the tag list (30 min)

Fix every unmatched node ID before going on.
Step 4: accounts (15 min)
An administrator, the pilot technicians and one expert: see Add a user.
Step 5: import code, documents and work orders (1 h)

Step 6: connect read-only (1 h)
Start the stack against the site endpoints and confirm values arrive and no platform alarm shows.

Sign in as a technician, ask "Why did the line stop?" about the last stop, and open three citations.
Step 9: evaluation gate and week-0 assessment (1 h)
